How Lighting Affects the Art
About
Hi, I'm Kevin Wyatt. I was born and raised in Northwest Washington and have enjoyed the outdoors tremendously my whole life. I began welding as a necessity to my career in the early 2000s. Between nature and welding I was able to figure out the means to my Art.
My art is 100% handmade, by me. I use fire for the colors and abrasives for 3D effects. For the shapes I use a plasma cutter and cut the metal by hand as there are no automated processes in my Art. As a result, my Art is truly alive. It refracts light depending on your position or any light that strikes it. It will always look different depending on your location of view.
I recently moved to Spokane and built a studio where I have increased my production and quality. To date, the Art I have made is simply from my imagination. The greatest challenge in my Art is that fire only allows primary colors, so I focus on portraits of nature.
My current goal is to transform customer's photographs into my genre and deliver wonderful metal portraits of your memories.
Thank you!
